Activity: In the middle of the morning, reception at the southern border of Peñas Blancas between Costa Rica and Nicaragua and transfer to the colonial city of Granada with our national guide. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel Plaza Colon in Granada.

City Tour Granada & Isletas + Masaya Volcano by Night

Activity: Breakfast. City tour by horse-drawn carriage: Old Train Station, Gunpowder Fortress; Doña Elba Cigar Factory and the Church of La Merced. We will also visit the Central Park, Cathedral of Granada, Independence Square, the House of the Three Worlds, the Convent of San Francisco and the famous Calzada Street. Later, we will go to the Great Lake of Nicaragua, to navigate in its waters and appreciate the nature and its beautiful islets of volcanic origin. In the late afternoon visit the Masaya Volcano National Park by night and look inside the active crater Santiago and discover the new Lava Lake and observe the incredible red and glowing lava of the most impressive volcano in the world to visit. City Tour Managua + León Viejo and León Ruins

Activity: Visit the capital city of Managua; the Loma de Tiscapa National Park, where much of the history of the country has been developed; tour of the Bolivar-Chavez Avenue in the historic center of old Managua and its surroundings; the Ruben Dario National Theater, the Palace of Culture and the Central Park. We will also visit the old Malecon from where we will see Lake Managua through a walk along the new Paseo Xolotlan where there is a replica of what Managua was before the earthquake, followed by a visit to the new Salvador Allende Port. Continuation to the city of Leon, en route we will visit the Ruins of Leon Viejo, the first city founded by the Spanish, on the shores of Lake Xolotlan and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. Overnight at the Hotel El Convento in León.

Cerro Negro Volcano Boarding & City Tour León

Activity: Breakfast. This morning, we will make the Cerro Negro Volcano expedition with our local guide. Learn how to navigate the volcanic sand of the youngest and one of the most active volcanoes in all of Nicaragua, learning all about the Sandboarding experience. Have fun and enjoy the splendid views of the Marribios volcanic chain in the western part of the country. Free Lunch Not Included. In the afternoon visit of the actual colonial city of Leon with our local guide through its main churches, including its imposing Cathedral, the largest in Central America.

Leon - San Juan del Sur - Peñas Blancas border with Costa Rica.

Activity: Early in the morning, transfer from Leon to the border of Peñas Blancas with Costa Rica. If time permits, we will stop at the beautiful and charming San Juan del Sur Bay, where we will visit the Cristo de la Misericordia viewpoint with an impressive panoramic view of San Juan del Sur and its surroundings.
