The adventure begins with a departure from San José toward the La Carpintera area, a region known for its forests, its biodiversity, and its importance as a biological corridor for numerous species of flora and fauna.
When you arrive at the operations center, you'll receive the necessary safety equipment and a briefing from our expert guides, who will accompany you throughout the experience to ensure a safe and enjoyable activity.
The adventure begins with a roughly 20-minute hike through the premontane rainforest. Along the way, you’ll be able to admire the vegetation typical of this mountainous region and enjoy a natural setting that contrasts with the city’s proximity.
Once you arrive at the starting point, you’ll begin an exciting zip-line tour consisting of 13 lines and 19 platforms spread out among the trees. The lines are up to 500 meters long, allowing you to enjoy breathtaking views of the forest while experiencing the thrill of gliding through the treetops.
The experience also includes rappels of approximately 40 meters and 10 meters, adding an extra element of adventure for those who want to enjoy a more complete experience.
In addition to the excitement of the hike, this activity offers a different perspective on the forest, allowing you to appreciate the importance of these ecosystems for the conservation of biodiversity and the environmental well-being of the region.
