Enjoy an exciting day of adventure in Sarapiquí, one of Costa Rica’s most lush regions, where nature, adrenaline, and tropical landscapes come together to create an unforgettable experience.
The day begins with a departure from San José toward Sarapiquí, passing through beautiful rural and mountainous landscapes that gradually give way to the region’s characteristic rainforest. Along the way, you’ll be able to appreciate the natural beauty that sets this part of the country apart.
Upon arriving at the operations center, you’ll receive a safety briefing and all the necessary equipment to embark on the first adventure of the day: an exciting rafting trip down the Sarapiquí River. Accompanied by expert guides, you’ll navigate Class III rapids for approximately two hours, enjoying an experience full of fun, teamwork, and adrenaline as you travel down one of Costa Rica’s most renowned rivers for this activity. Between the rapids and calmer sections, you’ll be able to admire the lush vegetation surrounding the river and the abundant wildlife in the area.
At the end of the rafting adventure, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch featuring traditional Costa Rican cuisine prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Before moving on to the next adventure, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a unique natural exhibit inspired by the fascinating world of leaf-cutting ants, where you can observe up close the incredible work and organization of these species, which are considered essential to the balance of tropical ecosystems.
The adventure continues with an exciting zip-line tour through the tropical forest. From platforms suspended among the trees, you’ll glide along a series of cables that offer spectacular views of the landscape and a unique perspective of the forest from above. This experience combines excitement, nature, and the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of one of Costa Rica’s most important ecosystems.
Once the activities are over, we’ll head back to San José, taking with you unforgettable memories of a day full of adventure, nature, and authentic experiences in the heart of Sarapiquí.
